Wow that sucks! I hope they reimburse you for the shipping. I love the original ring; hopefully they send it back with no problems this time.

Ugh! That is so frustrating! I hope they get this resolved for you quickly, the rose gold looks awesome in the first ring.

Oh no….I remember your first thread about this and now to have it come back thinking it would be fixed only to get the wrong color! How frustrating! I hope they send you a replacement soon and the refunds they owe you for shipping costs.

MissLibra:  I remember your first post… Geez. I can’t believe they messed up again! Hopefully they refund two shipping prices, and send another ring! That’s so ridiculous.. Is it possible to have a jeweler local to you do the rose gold in middle if needed???? Than I’d tell the seller you want a partial refund to cover it to be done locally.

Please clarify something for me.

Was the center part of the first ring supposed to be solid rose gold or tungsten with a rose gold plating?

Wow, that’s so unprofessional of them I don’t even know what to say. I mean, mistakes happen, but two in a row *and* they “forgot” to refund you the shipping cost? I hope you get a super apologetic response with a good offer very soon.

I remember your original post about this! How seriously disappointing! The ring is so nice in rose gold. I hope they sort it out for you quickly.

MissLibra:  While I might be wrong, I have the sneaking suspision that they send you back the same ring. Could very well be, that the bench jeweler reset the stone but scratched to rose gold plating.

Without the ability to re-plate it (not all bench jewelers can), the only option would have been to polish the entire ring and thereby remove all the plating.

Even if I’m wrong, the whole situation was not handled well on their part.

Oh bummer. I was still a lurker when this happened. Sorry it’s happening again. Did you pay with PayPal? I’d open a dispute if I didn’t hear back from them in a reasonable amount of time AND refunded the original shipping.

MissLibra:  Sorry to hear you’re having so many problems.  I say 2 strikes and they’re out!  Try Tungstenworld.com.  I ordered from them and the ring was gorgeous.  Excellent selection too.  (Hopefully that’s not who you’re having problems with!!)
