I think the wood is gorgeous!!! So moody... but breaking it up with fabric might be nice.
I think the wood is too gothic or something lol but I haven't seen it in person. something like this with cool white drapes or perhaps blue ones...

@otb, jackie, and mrs. spring, the price is right and it actually probably makes a bit more sense to get married indoors in december but like i said we'll see what happens.
@dan: I like it too! but it depends on the restaurant pricing..
@krissy: that's exactly what I'm thinking and I have a friendor that owns a linen company and I sent her pictures of it along with draping pictures so we'll see what she thinks of it.
It's gorgeous, crebre! The wood with the draping looks beautiful. Thank goodness for friendors ;)
i think its beautiful and i can imagine you in your dress in that chapel - loving the wood btw, very classy and classic
I love the pic you posted of wood with fabric over...so pretty :)
*fingers crossed*
oooh this place is pretty! and no sketchy neighboorhoods right? i'll keep my fingers crossed for a good restaurant quote!
@valhalla: definitely!! I have referred a bunch of clients to her so she's giving me an awesome deal and her product is STELLAR!!
@rosie: i think it'll be really pretty in the daylight as well and I love it...
@eloping: i love it too...
@sulli:yeah i think the draping is wonderful as well!!!
@tea: it's in a golf course so no sketchy neighborhoods...
I'm crossing my fingers for you! That pic of the wood and the draping looks so romantic, that venue has such possibilities!
Love it!! I love the picture you posted too of the decor. And is it just me or are those beams just begging for paper lanterns to be hung off of them? A few well placed & bangin' Chandeliers w/ a Crebre touch perhaps?? Hmmmm??
Oh this would be pretty with your special touch...I am excited!!
@mighty: let's hope so, cross your fingers!!!
@dancy: you totally know I was thinking that right?! but I think the chandeliers next to the lanterns would be too much? but we'll see, I'm definitely thinking about hanging something from the beams though
@ms. mojito: yeah i'm digging it like crazy lol
It's STUNNING! And you're totally right about the draping in the day time...with the sunlight filtering in, it will look heavenly. And if you drape the linen low enough or strategically enough, maybe you could down play the lanterns & up play some Crebre-style chandeliers.
@ms. pascua: i've already shot a picture of it to my linen vendor (woohoo) and she rocks so she's thinking of different draping options for it.

Soooo I recently found this (oddly enough on one of the sites that we blocked the hotel rooms for, an all suite golf course). Across the walk way are restaurants and I am just waiting on the quote for it. This is on a golf course and can still accommodate the brunch wedding, cross your fingers because if push comes to shove this may be "it".
I don't care for the wood too much, but it's nothing that draping can't fix ;)
