Every year I have to find some Gharardelli Peppermint Bark. It’s only around during the Holidays and I hate that! I also love eating the festively colored Oreos for all of the seasons and holidays. My tasetbuds have convinced me that each color tasted different.
What’re your Holiday treats?

No candy lovers….only me?

I don’t have any specific holiday candy, but I must have Russian Teacakes for Christmas (the little round cookies rolled in powdered sugar…which are basically a ball of butter with a little flour and some nuts). Love them!!!!
But now that I know there are holiday oreos, I’m going to have to track those down. 🙂 Thanks a lot. 😉

I have to have pumkin cakes, and my great grandmother peckenpaus oatmeal raisin cookies. I have also been on the hunt for Lindt Pistaccio Chocolate bars, they are the only ones the FH will eat.

I love and adore the chocolate orange. Last year the Fiance had never heard of these and in my stocking he put 10 different types of orange flavored chocolates. It was so cute. It was finally and the parents house though when I received the lovely cracked ball of yumminess!

I love anything with mint. I love Bluebell’s peppermint icecream the most.

I just love candy canes! My mom always makes these marshmallow things that she calls ‘marshmallow clouds’ Basically is is a large marshmallow coated in frosting with sprinkles. They are ridiculous. So rich though, I LOVE candy and I can really only eat a couple at a time before a major sugar rush!

Candy Canes and Peppermint Bark.
It’s so bad for me to have those in the aparment. I made a 3 cup container of peppermint bark, it was gone in less than a week between FH and I.

Putting aside all the weird things we consider Christmas cookies in my family, my store-bought “gotta have” at the holidays is Trader Joe’s Candy Cane Joe Joes. They’re basically a fake Oreo, but with bits of candy cane in the filling. Disgustingly sweet, but as a once a year thing, I love them.

I love swedish gingersnaps! And King Leo Peppermint sticks, which have real peppermint oil in them.

@Frog E.:Seeing as I just ate about 10 of these this evening, I would have to second your vote on Trader Joe’s Candy Cane Joe-Joes!

It seems like most things include peppermint and chocolate!
