Alright Bees, it's our first married holiday and we have NO IDEA what to get MIL. We've been together for almost 10 years and picking out MIL's gifts hasn't gotten any easier :( We go through this every year with her birthday and Hanukkah and this year I am just totally stumped.

We've done gift certificates for massages, mani/pedis, sweaters, scarves, jewelry, slippers, coffee for her keurig, candles, booze etc. in the past. For a wedding thank you we gave her a large framed wedding photo. What are you getting your MIL this year? What do you get for the woman who has everything, and buys whatever she doesn't have? We've got to get something fast and we're out of ideas!

@saraja87: What about one of those monthly flower things? Like a beer of the month, only with flowers. Most women love flowers and that way she could have something come in every month.

We've bought a nice crystal vase. Becuase as claireos says, most women love flowers. And when you don't have flowers (or don't like them) you've still got a pretty vase to look at!

Thanks Bees, those are pretty good ideas! She actually isn't a wine drinker, she prefers martinis, so maybe a cute martini set. I know she likes flowers as well, so a vase or flower service would work as well!
