Hi there - Welcome
I just ordered a Rivini gown (I'll be writing a thread and posting pix shortly) and becuase I short and the dress is quite $$ I want it to be the best fit ever, lol In saying that I ordered a hollow-to-hem and its going to be a bit longer beucase currently my heels are 4". The shoe cobbler will be shaving down the heel, I just don't want it done until the dress arrives :) I think you made a very wise decision by ordering hollow-to-hem!

Bees,
I'm going in for a hollow-to-hem measurement at Kleinfeld and wanted to know based on people's experience if they generally came in too long, short or just right? If designers and seamstresses both err on being 2-3 inches too long, I might wear shorter heels to try to balance it. My dress is super intricate at the bottom so I really don't want to have to touch the hemline!
