Has anyone ever worn the Hollywood Dream Corset from Fredericks? I am seriously considering it for under my dress. It’s got bi-directional laceup back and that is just what I need to suck it all in. Thoughts?

Ohhhh I have that corset in red and boy does it do a good job at sucking everything in,I love it!!! Quick question though is your dress strait acroos or sweetheart neckline?? If not worn low enough you can see the top of the corset, don’t know if sweetheart neckline will cover it.Also because of the boning on the corset I’m not so sure you if your dress fabric will hide it or show thru.I’ve worn it with costumes and regular shirts and you can see the boning of the corset.

I have one too! Its awesome. I think it would depend on the dress tho.

You really need to try on the corset and dress together!
Whilst corsets pull you in at the waist, they also flatten the bottom of the breasts and push them up, so it can make your boobs look oddly shaped if worn under a dress/top.
Unless the corset is specifically made to cup around the breast, this is going to happen.
The boning can also show through, as can the lacing, or even the top of the corset can be seen above the dress.
If you just want to squish your abdomen area, get a waist cincher.

@NanaluvzGeo: My dress is a replica of Maggie Brielle and it’s straight across. I am hoping the combo of pushup and sucking in work in my favor without making me too boobilicious. LOL!
@MASPA: YAY! Well I ordered it in Champagne, it’s on sale for $29 in all colors til midnight. I hope it works but if not I can wear it anyway for other things.
@BerryBerry: Yes, the boning is what concerns me but my dress is thick satin and boned pretty heavily so maybe it won’t. My dress is straight across and pretty high up so I don’t think it will show up top but I will definitely try it as soon as it gets here!
