I just joined a new gym a few months ago and have been doing the classes, including spin. Even with a "dry fit" gym shirt I'm still soooo sweaty by the end. But I really feel like I worked out! I also have been doing kick boxing at my gym because I feel like it works muscles I don't use doing cardio work on my own. I've also done Zumba and liked it with some instructors and not with others. Although Zumba isn't typically as hard.
Good luck finding new classes! I think I'm going to be going to spinning tonight..!
I just started spin classes a few weeks ago. I LOVE them!! I feel so much stronger lately when I run and do other workouts, and I am sure it is because of spin class. I just really need to work on keeping pace!
I was a total spin-a-holic years ago... While it is a fantastic workout, it is easy to overdue. I enjoy going once a week now.
I'm a weight-training fan, personally. (That's because I'm petite and would love to put some meat on my shoulders.)
A friend of mine signed up for a spinning class, and she had exactly the same reaction as you after her first workout! She vowed to bring one of those gel seats with her next time to minimize the impact to "certain regions" too, and mentioned something about feeling sorry for the males in that class LOL.

I was bored with my old workouts and wanted to find something fast and effective - on a recommendation, I took my first spin class last night. I can't remember the last time that I sweat that much in 45 minutes (sorry, TMI?)! I am thinking about adding it in once a week. Anyone else a spin-a-holic? What are some of your other favorite fast and effective workouts - always looking to expand my repetoire!
