MargaritaVille :  I’m 4wks 5 days and literally questioning every twinge! So hard because you don’t know what’s normal and what’s not! I’ve had little needle like pains mainly in right side and general achy feelings too!

I haven’t had any aches and joint pains but the bloating I have had is ridiculous – so I feel your pain on a different level. I am almost 7 weeks and I am afraid I am not going to be able to hide it much longer because how much my stomach sticks out!

I’m very achey too! Especially my knees! I’ve had quite a bit of (mild/dull) cramping, tons of fatigue (literally could fall asleep any time, anywhere), and all this crazy achiness! My back and hips hurt after shopping at Nordstrom and Target (where did my shopping stamina go?!). I certainly hope this lets up a bit before I get really big and uncomfortable–I can’t imagine feeling like this for 7 more months!

allsmiles92 :  FWIW, last week (week 6) I was SO bloated and swore I looked 4 months pregnant. This week (7w2d today), it’s not nearly so bad. So, hopefully it lets up for you too. (Also, TMI, I realized a lot of it was constipation… so that can definitely be a culprit! Ugh!)

Pregnancy: it’s so glamorous.

DrunkInLove :  OMG that gives me so much hope 🙂 I feel like no one really tells you how gross you are going to feel …and thats the only word I can use to describe how I have felt… gross! Have you had any morning sickness? I am praying that just stays away!

I’m bloated like crazy and waiting for someone to go “OMG are you pregnant???” Cause I’m a  a bit paranoid I’m showing already lol I have little cramps like if I was due a period but they never last long. Just a few seconds every few hours. Constipation has begun and I’m exhausted and gassy 🙁 Not glamorous.

allsmiles92 :  More just small waves of nausea that come and go pretty quickly. In a way, it’s nice not being super sick, but I also would kind of welcome it as it’s usually a good sign for a healthy baby/pregnancy. Ah, the things we worry about. Who knew I’d want to be nauseous? 23yo hung-over me would never have guessed… ;P

MargaritaVille :   DrunkInLove :  the constipation is the worst! I thought I was starting to show a few weeks ago but it ended up being just constipation and bloating.

I am still constipated most of the time at nearly 18 weeks but then I have bouts of diarrhoea as well. So glamorous!

MargaritaVille :  According to the cheatsheet my Dr. gave me, the following are safe for constipation:

  • Fibercon
  • Metamucil
  • Fiberall
  • Dulcolax
  • Vitracil
  • Colace (Docusate sodium)
  • Milk of Magnesia

And plain tylenol for aches and pains.

Hopes this helps!

ETA: I’m still super bloated and full of… whatever. I could barely get my pants buttoned this morning. I’m starting to run low on options that conceal this bloat-bump…

MargaritaVille :  I definitely experienced this in the beginning! The cramping was so intense that I thought something was wrong. Between 4-7 weeks I was pretty freakin’ crampy!

I’m now 24w5d pregnant, and all is well!
