So originally SO and I hadn’t planned on getting married till right after I got out of college. Now financial issues have come to light and it is probably way smarter to go ahead and get married before I transfer colleges.
I transfer in like a year, maybe a little more.
This is still in the planning and talking stages, but right now it really is looking like our best option. And it’s a really freaky thought. I didn’t expect to be married for several more years. Whoa.
I just really needed to get this out there, since we’re not saying anything to anyone yet.

You weren’t planning on getting married for a few more years, til you’re out of college…. so what are you … 18?!!!

@gingerbreadgirl: Definitely congrats! The early wedding isn’t a bad thing, we may just have to scale things back (I’m steeling myself for the arguments from my mom about having to invite 60 extra people!). But in the end, it’s the marriage and not the wedding that counts. 🙂 It’s just surreal that it might happen so soon!
@lealorali: We’re both nineteen about to be twenty. But don’t act so surprised- I’m certainly not the only young bee on here!
@BrandNewBride: Thank you! Bizarre is the perfect word to describe it! But it is definitely a good thing 🙂 Like I said, we’re still debating it pending a few other decisions but it’s just weird to think I could be planning a wedding in a couple of months instead of a couple of years!
