Can I be in your wedding! Loving your BM dress pick!! Love the 1st Clutch too or the Last one, its a hard pick!
Best of Luck!
Monique Lhuillier! I am kind of overbudget with this gown (my friends are paying $150 and I'm covering the rest), but it's so pretty.
@techie: Restore your sanity, LOL, totally understand.
That BM dress is super pretty, I would love one in black. I think that it goes really well with your dress (which is still AMAZING).
For the bag, I like the first one. I am a blingy person, but with the first bag it is just more versatile. I would use that one time and time again for various occasions and you can add a brooch to it to dress it up.
@techie: Ok well after seeing your venue, dress and BM dresses I am officially jealous of your stunning wedding!
I love the lines of the first clutch. Very interesting -- not something you see regularly. I don't particularly care for the design or style of the second clutch. In fact, I didn't notice the "bow" shape of the metal until I went back to answer the poll and noticed that you referred to that one as a bow. The last clutch is also very nice, but I wondered if the sequins could possibly snag the bridesmaids' dresses. Perhaps that is not a concern based on the feel of the clutch or the fabric of the dresses, but I thought the first one would be the most beautiful and interesting choice while also posting the least possible risk for any snagging.
Thank you! I kind of want one in black to wear on our honeymoon...if they had offered a discount (six gowns!), I would've done it in a heartbeat.
The first clutch does seem more versatile, I agree. I put the sequined one up there because my own gown has sequins in the skirt. The bow one...well, why not? lol
Oh yay! I love that dress! I like #3 the best, unless the handle of the first can be tucked inside. For some reason, the handle takes away from #1 for me.
Oh gosh, excellent point!!! It would snag like crazy on the chiffon. My own fingernail snagged the fabric on the sample in store.
You can't beat New Orleans either! I love the glam vintage theme of yours :)
Thanks :)
I like bag #1 the best - it looks classy and not too "OH HEY CHECK OUT MY CLUTCH!"
Edit: Apparently I am very indecisive and now kinda like #3 better as I imagine them with that BM dress. Sorry, I'm no help. :P
LOL...pretty much how I feel. I'd hate to spoil the surprise but maybe I should let them choose what they like best. The snagging that a PP mentioned is a valid point though.
BEAUTIFUL choices! I'm always so jealous of your good taste! :) I actually really love clutch #2, but not sure it's universal enough that all girls will. If not #2, #1 is my second choice! What about...an assortment of all 3? I love them all.
With such different personalities, I'm thinking that might be a better route. DSW has so many options, maybe they can each have a different one! Thanks :)
@techie: your dresses are beautiful! My vote was for bag 2, but I am a sucker for anything with a bow. :) Bag 3 would be my second choice. I think a little bling is a good thing!

As some of you bees might have seen from my past posts, gown selection for my bridesmaids and FI's groomsmaids has been one of the most difficult things in our planning. Six very different women, three of them plus-sized. Finding my gown was a cinch in comparison. :p
I was more than open to the girls picking a different dress from the same designer/fabric/color, but they all ended up choosing the same one. It definitely looks more evening gown than bridesmaid so I can see why.
Photoshopped the gown to the plum color below. The GMs will wear the same in black.
This is my gown, btw. Their gowns might not "match" my gown but I really love it (and want one for myself).
And now I'm considering one of the following clutches for them. Which one do you like?
After this, I am so taking the rest of the year off from any wedding planning so I can restore my sanity.
