This wedding has been 17 months in the making an I didn’t ever think it would come some times. Now twitch only 6 days standing between me and my Fiance from being Husband and Wife! I can’t believe this is my last Monday being a Miss!
I guess i’m just excited and nervous at the same time!! How is everyone else holding up??

4 days for me! After a 2.5 year engagement I can definitely relate to the feeling of, “its never going to come!”
I still can’t believe it!! So surreal.

@DandSwedding: Date twin! <3
I know what you mean. This final week is surreal. Yesterday, my Fiance was channelling The Ring and just going around going “7 days” What a dork. I was in my head thinking of the day. “At this point we’ll be saying our vows. At this point we’ll be married for 5 hours.” “At this point he’ll probably be yelling at the Redskins during our afterparty.”
It really does feel so surreal. This whole 18 month planning period, the wedding was so far off in the distance. Now it’s actually happening? Does not compute.

@MrsFutureG: yay! Date twin!!!
My Fiance was out golfing yesterday as I had to deal with my over stressing mother. I just had to say “one week!” Or “7 days, 2 hours x seconds” and she went into a tizzy, it was fun! Now I am looking over my final list of “to dos” and it’s starting to stress me!
How much more do you have to do?

Congrats, ladies! The 13th will be my one year anniversary, so I’ll be enjoying a slice of wedding cake as well. Just remember to breathe on the day of and take moments throughout the day to look around and take mental pictures of everything thats happening. It goes by SO fast! 🙂

-Pack for honeymoon
-Pack up car and drop everything off!

My harpist just emailed me today asking us to email her our music selections, and I’m just like What the Hell?? We sent that back in August!! That just pissed me off, and I’ve been relatively calm and collected, meltdown free until now. I still have to do my seating chart poster, place cards and print menus.

@DandSwedding: 5 days for me! After a 19 month engagement the speed that this last month has gone by just boggles my mind.

Well, today I found out my fiance told me he has a second grandmother he forgot about. This is after I had already printed 200ish programs, front and back, with the family members name, which did not have her name. We also did not order a boutinierre for her, since I did not know she existed. So now I have to re-print all the programs, order her a boutinierre, and let my pastor and DOC know for the ceremony.
How do you forget about a grandmother??? All my fiance said was that it was because his grandfather remarried, so she is his ‘third’ grandmother, and he isn’t close with that side of the family. Sigh.

My aunt had to back out of doing my flowers on Sunday. Yesterday I sat down with a friend of my mom’s who is a retired florist to arrange my flowers… 6 days before my wedding! Then my mom, sister and I ran around like mad women trying to find ribbon she needed.
