I am a DIY bride…..more like DIY and with 3 or 4 helpers!!! We are having 220+ people at our wedding and each guest is walking away with 6 handmade truffles! They are like little pieces of heaven and surprisingly very simple to make!!! We have Chocolate walnut truffle, Chocolate raspberry with white chocolate coating, Peanut Butter truffle, White chocolate Lemon & Dark Chocolate Mint.
Then we are boxing them and wrapping eachbox in decorative paper and tying with ribbon along with a little trinket on top.
Is anyone else making Candies or Baking? Its ALOT of fun!!!

I am making chocolates for our favors! I love baking but I didn’t want to have to bake/ decorate a lot of cookies the day before the wedding so they would be fresh.

Would you wanna share the recipe with us??
Sounds AMAZING! I love to bake but I’ve never (yet) attemped candies

I went to pastry school, and I love making truffles! I think that is a great idea for a favor. I always give them to my friends and family at Christmas time.
Your flavors sound really great!

i made truffles for my christmas gifts last year and they were a hit! it’s suprisingly easy to make and people are shocked to hear that you made them. your flavors sound tasty. i unexpectedly fell in love with the s’more flavor truffle i made, complete with mini marshmallow!
i want to bake whoopie pies for our favors. i made those previously for christmas as well and they were so good. plus i know they freeze well so i can easily make them ahead of time!
