@daniellemybelle: Take a Nyquil! Works for me, especially when coupled with the morning news shows. :) Feel better!
@daniellemybelle: You sound like me! Just put everything away for 5 mintues and do something relaxing. Light a candle, have some tea, whatever calms you down. Sometimes I set a timer and relax for 5 minutes that way and you feel better after.
I get like this too. Not sure why. I think I always feel some sort of guilt because I called out and "left people hanging". Just curl up onto the couch with a nice comfy blanket and watch one of your favorite movies. It'll definitely help.
Thanks for the advice, everyone. I took a nap, but was the worst nap ever! I kept waking up and checking my phone to see if I had any email! So now I'm just doing some work on my laptop in bed while watching The View - I guess it beats being in the office!

I have a yucky cold today and when I woke up, the last thing I wanted to do was get dressed and go to work. I was coming down with it yesterday and my manager told me to go home early, but I stuck it out. I have been wanting to take a sick day for a while, just as a mental health day, but now that I am actually home it sucks! I feel so much anxiety about not being at work, even though nothing I have on my plate is urgent, and I can do some stuff from home. I feel SO awake when all I want to do is sleep. Why can't I just enjoy my day off?!
