I don’t know if this is an option, as I know zero about vectors etc., but I think I’d like the tree better in brown.  The black is a little harsh for me.  The whole design is cute though, I think you did a good job modeling it after your inspiration pic! I also might suggest putting your names in a slightly fancier font, and making the husband and wife slightly smaller.  Just suggestions though πŸ™‚

I really love the overall design, and I like that you decided to capitalize names… I’m not a fan of leaving them in lower case. The tree and birds are very nicely done.

ETA: I like yours better than the inspiration, I think you did a great job of taking the best elements and leaving out others

I agree that the black is way too harsh. Maybe a dark brown or even some kind of grey?

@WillBeMrsD:  A vector is totally customizable. Absolutely everything about them can be changed, that’s the awesome thing about them! They are the heartof the graphic design world. πŸ™‚

Maybe if you don’t want to do brown, you could do charcoal? I also might like the tree moved off to the side a bit more because it takes up more than half of the invitation, and would give you the room to make Husband & Wife bigger.  That seems like it should be in a different place because it looks squished

I would also make the trunk a little thinner

You’re asking the wrong person.  I literally do not know what a vector is, and the only fonts I know are Arial and Times New Roman hahahaha I just know what I like when I see it Smile I’m sure there are plenty graphic people out there who can help better than I could with fonts… but I’m happy to look at drafts and give opinions!
