I think it’s very good, but if you’re trying to make it look lifelike, I think guests will be able to tell.

I don’t think it’s tacky at all. It’s very pretty. I think they’re just fine being paper.

You did a great job with the mock up. I’d love to see what it looks like when you’re done.

@VallieC:  I actually really like it. I thought the first picture was the inspiration picture.

I think it looks gorgeous! You did a great job in making them look like real flowers.

That is AMAZING! I would be WAY more impressed with those at a wedding than I am with real flowers!

@VallieC:  I’m not really sure. I think above all else I’d be super impressed that someone could do that with paper lol I am so not crafty. I realize how much flowers cost so I would assume that they were there due to budget reasons, which isn’t a bad thing necessarily. People all have different priorities.

I think you did a wonderful job making them! It looks like the second one could be made out of sola flowers too.

I like it. I like the idea of a bride lovingly making paper flowers for her own wedding, but I don’t like the idea of buying paper flowers, if that makes sense.

Well, since I made paper flowers for my centerpieces, bouquets, bouts and corasages…I don’t think it’s tacky!!! I will warn you that it’s a lot of work. Butit can be really nice. And you can use al sorts of different kinds of paper. I used maps, book paper, music paper, and pretty patterned origami paper.
