Ok so my original thought was a nice honeymoon in PA, somewhere around the Poconons.....but after a lot of research on the web, I can't find anything that fits what I am looking for.  I was hoping for a nice resort, that wasn't an an all inclusive package (ie 3 meals a day) with a lusicious bed or perhaps a nice cabin somewhere that wasn't dingy and with both options, I insist on having a private jacuzzi! :)

After not being able to find anything like this in PA, I started looking around at other people's honeymoon locations and I fell in love with St. Lucia.  Specifically, I fell in love with pictures from Stonefield Estate Villas and Ti Kaye Village (they looked absolutely spectacular).  I've never been here before nor really even heard of it before so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions?  Is anyone going here on their honeymoon or been here in the past?  I have yet to start researching but I thought I would post and see if anyone had a travel agent, location or websites that they recommend.

I am thinking that 4 days in PA in a nice resort somewhere sounds amazing and then 7-10 days in St. Lucia afterwards would be amazing.  So if anyone has suggestions for either locations, I would greatly appreciate it!

I'm kind of planning this whole wedding myself, with fiance, while both of us work 60+ hour work-weeks every week and with no help from bridal parties, family or a wedding coordinator ....finding the starting point can be a bit overwhelming at times...

Have you looked into Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort? It's located in the Poconos, offers a cottage, isn't all-inclusive, and has a private jacuzzi! :o)

I am from Pa and there are several places mostly up north that you might want to consider... I would check Woodloch's.  It is a resort on the mountains that isnt all inclusive but is private and has just what you are looking for.  It might be a bit pricey but well worth it.

Try these links for cabin rentals:

And if I remember correctly, the Ants took their minimoon to St. Lucia and stayed at Stonefield Villas. Look up her posts about it.

    Hope this helps!
