My FI is afraid of flying over the ocean and does not like cruises. Neither one of us travels a whole lot so we don’t know what a good densitation would be. We’re both sort of homebodies and too out-doorsies.

Perfect thing my grandmother reccomended… long-term ride on trains. Like not subway trains…like pretty antique-looking beauities you can literally stay on like a hotel and travel across the country. Theres even tours where you can be dropped off and ramble a little around the towns. I always wanted to try it someday and they DO exist!I take one in North GA for the fall rides any time I can!

Sounds like me & fi, although we DO like to go out for certain things.
We were looking for destinations where we could stay indoors, and enjoy ourselves.
We decided that we are taking a sort-of road trip. Each destination is about 3 hours apart, and we’ll spend 3+ nights at each location.
We both really love slot machines, and he loves poker, so our first destination will be at a casino – we plan to upgrade to a deluxe suite with a gorgeous veiw.
After 3 nights, we’ll head to sybaris – a homebodies dream! You can rent rooms that have their own private heated pool, hot tubs, massage chairs & saunas. They are usually located in somewhat large areas, but are off on their own, very secluded – close to food & dining, but far away to forget about everything else.
Did I mention private heated pool in-room?!
After 3 nights at sybaris, we’ll head to chicago [we do LOVE chicago], we’ll visit navy pier, and dave and busters! We LOOOOVE arcade games. So much. We aren’t sure how many nights we’ll stay in chicago.

1- How long will you have for this Honeymoon ?
2- Are you open to a driving holiday / road-trip ?
3- Was it “not too out-doorsies” ? So not into stuff like hiking, camping etc
4- I see you are in Wisconsin… have you ever been to Canada (Manitoba OR Ontario) ?
5- Have you seen all of the Great Lakes ?
6- How many nearby States have you been to ? (Minnesota – Iowa – Ilinois – Indiana – Ohio – Michigan)
The more I know about you… the more I’m able to make good suggestions.
