@Huntcat27:  We’re actually going to Hawaii too for 13 nights in January – Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island! Very excited for it. Let me know if you get any good tips on where to go/what to do!

I’m going to Hawaii in February for 2 weeks – Oahu and Kauai!  We are so desperate to go!!!!  I’m starting to get really, really antsy – I just want the wedding to be here already!

Since I’m stationed in Hawaii, we’re going the Vegas route. 😉

We’re doing a destination wedding in Vegas, so we decided to do something for our anniversary next year – I’m thinking Caribbean lol!

Ugh, at this point the honeymoon is the only thing I’m really excited about. 😉

We’re taking advantage of the off-season cheap deals and heading for 3.5 weeks in Europe/N. Africa! I’m pumped. We set our budget at $6K and I told FI to surprise me with the whole thing…boy did he deliver! We’re doing 4 days in Copenhagen, 4 days in Paris, 4 days in Barcelona, 8 days in Morocco, and 5 days in London. In the between times we’re travelling by train to see more of each country. I’ve never been out of the US before and, since we’re planning on TTC immediately after the wedding, we decided to go big.

I’m a tad bit jelly of all your warmer honeymoons, though. We’re going from 48F and rainy to…48F and rainy. Ah well, at least I’ll be used to the weather. 🙂 So psyched!!!

Ah, we’re just about to pay our invoice for our honeymoon! We’re going to Tahiti for Christmas and I can’t wait! We’ll be in Moorea and then Bora Bora. I’m also super excited about hitting up Bouchon and Bouchon Bakery in LA before our flight takes off! Need to start shopping for swimsuits, sundresses, and lingerie!

@Huntcat27:  (Yay, almost date twins!) Thanks! When FI finally told me what he was planning, I couldn’t believe it either. I may or may not have called him a liar. >.> We lucked out on a couple of things…super-cheap tickets from SEA to Denmark, I have a friend who teaches in Casablanca and he offered his apartment for a couple of nights since he and his family spend the holidays in Europe, and the exchange rate between the USD and the Moroccan dirham is ridiculous. But honestly, if it wasn’t the off season we never would have been able to afford it.

I second the rec for the Beatles. My brother saw it when he was in Vegas and he loved it– since he’s 22 and (somedays I swear) seems oblvious to the fact that music existed pre-1990, the fact that he’s now a Beatles convert seems to confirm it’s a great show. 😉

TAHITI. I want to go there so bad. It’s definitely on the travel bucket list but will have to wait for quite a few years. Hope you guys have an excellent time! 🙂

@jg780806:  Where in Jamaica are you going? My FBIL is getting married at the Grande Riviera in Ocho Rios in May…we’ve never been to Jamaica or stayed at a Sandals, and would love an inside scoop. 🙂
