Hello!

Our wedding is the end of July, so we’ll have an early August honeymoon.

We are going to Costa Rica. Costa Rica combines the beachfront ocean hotel with so many options for water sports, and you can visit hot springs (and mud baths I believe!), take volcano walks, and check out the rainforests. I personally think it’s the ultimate interesting destination! You can bum on the beach with drinks or adventure through the rainforest.

I got an excellent all-inclusive 7-night package with airfare, and I bet you could find the same.

You could check out Bali, which is where we’re headed.  There are several beaches, but also lots of cultural/high adventure things to do as well.

I am going to Jamaica and have so much planned.  Email me if you want the link to my Honeyfund to see all the details of our activities.  My second choice was Costa Rica, which had almost all the fun stuff we wanted to do:  scuba, canopy forest ziplines, volcanos….safety would be my biggest concern there.  My friend is from Costa Rica and said to keep a close eye on pockets and purses.

our honeymoon is the begining of July and we’re taking a cruise to Alaska. it wont be freezing but it wont be 90 degrees either. we are choosing a more adventurous path but there are a lot of things to do! other choices we had included italy, st lucia (we’ve been before – highly recommended) or anguilla/st barths. good luck.

We’re going to Bermuda from July 6th-13th.  Gorgeous beaches and it’s an island that is comfortable, economically speaking so it’s quite safe.  Check out the cottage colonies – we’re staying at Cambridge beaches which has multiple beaches, plus it’s own marina.

We were also thinking of those places to go to for our honeymoon b/c we’re getting married in July too! Tahiti or Bora Bora were my first choices then I had Costa Rica on my list too b/c I heard so many good things about it and its not so expensive!   I heard they have good eco-lodges too.  I’m looking for resorts or lodges that are eco-friendly.  Hawaii is great but expensive to go in July-August, its peak season for families to travel. I didnt’ like going in those months b/c it was crowded. I also, heard the sulfur from the volcanoes is high so its been causing a lot of asthma issues. Good luck!

We are getting married in August and we’re going on an Alaskan cruise from Anchorage to Vancouver.  We’re staying for a few days before in Anchorage and a few days after in Vancouver.  Same reasons as JW above – something in a cooler climate and we are seeking adventure!

We went to Northern Brazil last july. It is winter there, but in the north, since it is so close to the equator it is warm and sunny. We spent half of our trip in the Amazon and half the time at an amazing resort. Feel free to private message me if you want more information. The trip was definately different and lots of fun!
