We used TravelersJoy.com - it was great and people were really receptive to using it! We were able to do a lot more on our honeymoon as a result!
Scratch my earlier comment, I apparently don't know how they work - do people pay money online and you get a check afterwards? Does the money get funneled right to the company??

I researched quite a few and decided on this one because they don't take a cut of the money that ppl gift you (some of the websites do)
You can set it up so ppl can choose what they would like to gift you, then they print out a paper that says what they have purchased and they include that in the car with the cash or cheque. or if you set up a paypal account they can pay online with their credit card (it's a secure payment).
If you go to www.honeyfund.com and search some names in the top right corner (i put common last names in like smith or jones) a bunch of ppl's registries come up and you can see how they did it (if you search Moody, ours will come up :)
We used Traveler's Joy and really liked it - I actually like that they make the couple pay the credit card fee, instead of the gift giver...feels classier.
The way that it works is that you create the gifts and determine the amount, then after gifts are given, you can have the funds transferred to a paypal or bank account or they send you a check. You can do the transfers whenever you like.
Once you have the money, you can do anything you want with it - you are not hooked to any travel agencies or anything like that.

Hi Bees! Someone recently suggested to us that we use a honeymoon gift registry. I have never heard of this before, but I understand the concept. Is/Has anyone used a honeymoon gift registry? Which ones did you use? How successful was it? We are doing an "Australian Roadtrip" for our honeymoon, for what its worth. Thanks!!
