So, I haven't gone yet but I'm going to Moorea and Bora Bora for my HM. I booked through Pacific for Less with Claudia and she's been amazing. I priced her out against booking it myself and a few other TA's that specialize in Tahiti and she was the best quote with add-ons at each hotel. Highly recommend Claudia!!
We are going to Bora Bora and Moorea for our honeymoon. I filled out the questionnaire on that tahiti - tourisme website and Aly from Pace Setter Travel agency contacted me. I'd been in contact with another TA and did my own pricing on Expedia and Aly was hands down a lot cheaper. I loved working with her and referred her to my friend who also wanted to go to Bora Bora for their hm. They got married this past May so they've already gone on their hm and said everything Aly booked for them went smoothly and they loved it. She was also significanly cheaper than the other deals they were getting.
@turtle62212: I'm staying at the Hilton Moorea for 2 nights and then 8 nights at St. Regis in Bora Bora. Just noticed we are getting married a day apart - yay!!
@eclipse: What I loved about Pacific for Less is that I spent a lot of time talking to Claudia talking about what I wanted. She's stayed at all of the hotels and will tell you the good, bad and ugly (I don't that exists in Tahiti).
we just got back from our honeymoon the Hilton in Moreaa is amazing.. Loved it
I have complete and total honeymoon envy. A Moorea/Bora Bora honeymoon is my dream (with quick stops in Tahiti at the beginning and end). I'm still holding out hope that my fiancé and I can make it work financially. Yay for all you brides who are making it happen!
JuneBride financially it probably wasnt someething we could afford to do but we just said F it..If we dont do it now once we have kids we will never do it. We put it on a cc and i dont care what anyone says its WORTH EVERY PENNY and I work at a bank so im the last one to ever want to be in debt but man was it worth it.
i just posted some pics in my own topic right below this one go look at them when you have a sec
I went to Moorea a couple years ago and stayed at the Sheraton. We rented a moped and rode around the island, took the rainforest tour and the tour through the pineapple plantation. I highly suggest you do those things if you can! Also, we got back to Papeete early before our flight and went to the downtown part and had dinner and walked through the streets with all the street vendors.
I would love to go back!
My fiancee and I are also thinking of doing the Morreaa and BB honeymoon combination! I know it is expensive, but it just looks so gorgeous, and I figure it is a once in a lifetime opportunity! How far in advance did you book? I heard it is best to book 6-8 months out?
we're going may 2012 and booked a couple weeks ago in september.
and yes, it's crazy expensive, but i figure my honeymoon would be the most frivalous trip i take right? or else i'll have to wait for my 25th wedding anniversary when my kids are grown...or if i win the lottery i can bring the kids along haha.
@tink1983: i booked my hm in august for next june. figured i'd try to lock in the 2011 pricing for 2012.
definitely a once in a lifetime trip which is why we are doing it.

Hi bees! I am planning our honeymoon to Tahiti-Bora bora-Moorea. I found online the site http://www.tahiti-tourisme.com/ and www.Cruising2Tahiti.com and I wanted to know if any of you have references of these, since their prices are really really good for all inclusive packages.. And while I have bought A LOT of things online, it really gets me nervous to put all this money and maybe get to the airport and have nothing...
I would also appreciate if you could give me any advice on the places you went in the polynesia and any nice activities of good bargains!!
Thanks in advance!!
