ok.... so we made a decision about where we actually wanted to go... we decided NOT to leave the country because it was just to much effort for us.

we found a really nice place called "secrets on the lake" which i had seen a while ago and fell inlove with. Craig also loved the idea of the place.... took us a while to figure out which room we actually wanted. Each room has a different "theme" and hidden away from everyone else. so then we decided that what the hay we'll go to the top top room. (there are Luxury Treehouses which has 5 different rooms.. then there is the Penthouse Treehouses which has 4 rooms and then there is "Secrets" which is the top treehouse of them all)

so anyway Craig emails me today to let me know that he has call the place and the secrets room isn't avaliable on the dates we want.

seens how is took so long to decide which room, i thought i would get some second opinions to help decide again. I've already gotten one from a girl here at work.

Ok first choice is The Bower which is in the luxury treehouse range... it was one of the ones that was in our "which one should we choose" list. It has a medieval-ish theme... a drawbridge walkway to the house.

Second is The Platypus which is in the penthouse treehouse range.

and then we have the choice going for The Nest but only for 4 nights instead of 5 (which is what we wanted). The nest has it's own parking area and i think it's alot bigger, i think it can fit 6 ppl LOL.

BUMPING MY BOARD

i voted for the platypus as well. it looks gorgeous, and i think one extra night would be nice. i'd love to go there! i've wanted to go to australia my whole life - you're lucky to live there. :)

ps: why would you need room for 6 people? in my opinion, it's not worth losing a night. besides, won't you be in bed most of the time ;)

I am leaning towards the platypus more as it's right next to the lake... but then all the rooms each have a view of the lake so that doesn't really matter.... hmmm so hard to choose.... but i think the nest is outta the choices for being 4nights.

I think it was more the getting our own parking spot with the nest but really it doesn't matter as i have just realised that the other parking is undercover too

HONEYMOON IS BOOKED!!!! I'm so happy and so excited! i can't wait to get up there and relax!!

I got home last night and my partner was such a S**t LOL he told me that when he called back that the rooms we wanted got booked up and that he had to book "the nest" for only 2 nights because that was all that was left... i was heartbroken and started to get very upset. and then he was like naahh just kidding but we couldn't get any of those rooms and had to go with the cheapest room and only for 3nights... ARGH i got even more upset because he had a total serious face... then he grinned....and I was like "omg please tell me your joking because i'm getting really upset" LOL

We're booked into the Platypus for 5nights YAY!!!!!!! I'm so happy :)

*does a super happy dance*

any ideas on food we should take up? like easy dinners to cook? we'll be going out maybe once or twice but cooking the rest.
