My friend went to Baniff during the summer. It was a long time ago (mid-90’s), but from what I can remember, she had a great time!

@FutureMrsHolmes:  Canada is amazing!! (I’m from here obviously lol) There are alot of beautiful places to visit depending on what type of heneymoon you are looking for. Alot of people like Banff for ski trips and the mountains but if you want to see a nice city then go to Toronto or Montreal

Newfoundland and Labrador is beautiful.

Toronto and Montreal are packed with shopping and entertainment.

Lake Louise in Alberta is breathtaking.

Canada Rail can take you through the mountains and forests (Northwest Territories/Yukon anyone?)

Muskoka has great lodges and cabins in the woods.

Let’s not forget Niagara Falls!

@FutureMrsHolmes:  I’m not so sure about prices but it would be in Canadian dollars look at redtag, expedia or selloff websites for prices

@FutureMrsHolmes:  I’m biased, but Canada is AWESOME! Funny though, we were talking about heading to Texas for our honeymoon!

@FutureMrsHolmes:  I’m with @O.My.Heart:

What’s your season for honeymoon

Winter – Whistler, Banff, Jasper – anywhere in the West

Spring – probably Vancouver/the island

Summer – anywhere would be amazing! I’ve always wanted to hit the East coast in the summer. I’m from Muskoka and it’s famous for summer and fall. Honestly we have the most beautiful fall ever. We peak next week (so early Oct)

As for the cities… Montreal is a pretty great city – it’s a lot of fun, but I’d rather visit on a vacation, doubt I’d ever honeymoon there.

@FutureMrsHolmes:  I would say prices are pretty comparable to the US.  We live in Calgary and whenever we travel to the States (several times a year, mainly to the south) we find prices somewhat comparable 🙂

@FutureMrsHolmes:  The West Coast is probably your best bet! If you hit up the rockies like Whistler, then spend time in Vancouver – they have an amazing and beautiful Spring! You’ll get the beauty of the snow and rockies in Whistler, then have the warmth of Spring in Van. You could also hit up Vancouver Island and check out the trees. A dream vacay for me! 🙂
