Where are the best places to go in November? My future hubby and I live in Florida as it is and we'd like to go somewhere out of the country for sure. We were looking at Peru, Egypt, South Africa....basically places we would think to have tolerable weather during the time of the year.  I wanted to see Europe originally but then we realized it will probably be pretty nippy in Novemeber.

So, anyone have any tips? Were looking for something reasonably priced also.

We are getting married November 7th and thought about Buenos Aires for our honeymoon.....until we bought our condo.  Now we are going to Puerto Vallarta instead.  That said, Argentina will be heading from Spring into Summer during November.  I have heard *great* things about Beunos Aires.  Very European and romantic. Lots of Tango places. Friendly people.  The restaurants are excellent and public transportation is pretty user friendly (that was coming from a friend who is fluent in Spanish though).  We can't wait to go for our one year anniversary.

Sister and BIL Bruschetta married in early November 2007 in the Phlly area.  They did a mini moon in Niagara immediately following the wedding, and then took the "real" honeymoon in early January to Hawaii.  Good luck with your decision!

Look up destinations in the southern hemisphere(south of the equator). Their seasons are opposite fom ours. So Brazil, Argentina, Australia, and new Zealand are good options since it will be thier spring.

In both Peru and South Africa you would be arriving at the beginning of the wet seasons if you go in November. My sister was in South Africa during the wet season and it was VERY wet (got soaked through waterproof belongings). I have been to Peru (in June) and I loved it. So pack your umbrellas!

We are planning on a 11nt Mediterranean Cruise (Celebrity Solstice) in November. With our miles we are able to get airfare for free from SF to ROME- Another reason to pay for the wedding with CC.  Instead of writing checks - we are using the credit cards to make the purchases and pay them off same day to get the points/miles.

We are getting the cruise for practically nothing since its off season. (November)

    Tips:

A great place to check for last minute cruises is www.vacationstogo.com (sometimes 80% off)

Also http://joysworld.rovia.com/Home.aspx has been pretty helpful. If you find another deal for a honeymoon somewhere - email them and tell them to beat the price and they will. (Full Disclosure - the website in this paragraph just happens to be Fiance's Mom)

Sign up for Travel Zoo's Top 20 deals - It comes out every Tues and there are some insane specials.

    Good Luck.

We are getting married in November as well and had a tough time finding a honeymoon spot.  We finally decided on Thailand!  November is supposed to be a great time to go.  We are flying into Bangkok and then heading south to the Krabi area for some beach time.  Good Luck!  (It is also amazingly reasonable after paying for the flights which were around $1200pp)

Australia!  I'd also add New Zealand and Zambia to your list.  Zambia (Victoria Falls) if you are headed to South Africa.  There are reasonable flights from jo-burg.  The Zambezi Sun (I think) is this amazing hotel there.

    bonniejane,

We are one week ahead of you. We'll be in Thailand around that time too. Staying at the Tubkaak in Krabi, then going to Cambodia and ending in Bangkok by the time you get to Thailand.
