We are going on our HM in September, leaving the Tuesday after our wedding. We have picked a location, Punta Cana, but now having trouble deciding which resort to stay at. We have narrowed it down to Secrets Sanctuary Cap Cana, Secrets Royal Beach, or Excellence. I'm curious to see if any of you have stayed at any of these resorts. I would love to hear your feedback!

We are going to Punta Cana for our honeymoon in May (17th-24th)

After weeks and weeks of being obsessed with reading reviews on trip advisor we decided to bite the bullet and book at The Royal Suites Turquesa Pallidium.

It's an adults only section inside a larger resort, we liked the idea of staying at one playing at four.

The Royal section itself looks amazing, mostly great reviews. The rooms in the new section are incredible with a large jacuzzi tub in each room, some rooms have these awesome steam vapor showers. We booked a swim up and are so excited!

Being in the royal section also has some perks:

-Private beach, 2 pools and a restaurant just for Royal guests

-Top shelf booze, golf carts to take you anywhere on he resort, a pillow menu, an aromatheraphy menu, butler, no need for reservations ect...

It was really hard to choose but I think we'll be happy with our choice, I can't wait!

I found trip advisor a huge help, they have a Punta Cana forum with a ton of helpful people who know everything there is to know about every single resort.
