I’ve been looking at lingerie for my honeymoon, and it has been discouraging. I wear a 36DD/38D and I can’t seem to find anything that gives me good support and makes me feel good about myself. I have ordered a couple of things from Parfait by Affinitas that I REALLY like, but they are pricey. Does anyone have any suggestions of where to look, brands, types of lingerie (babydoll, chemise, etc) that might work and are affordable?
I have a couple of friends that are throwing lingerie showers for me, but I’m afraid that the regular department store stuff might not work and I want to be prepared.

Felina and Freya have some really nice lines for a fuller bust. I personally shop for lingerie online as I now know how each brand fits. my favorite online stores are figleaves and bare necessities. big girls bra is OK at times. Nordstrom’s Rack and NOrdstroms sell great stuff too.
I’m a 34G. It’s definitely more expensive but you can find stuff.

I second audrey_lane: response. Also try Figleaves.com or herroom.com, they carry lingerie etc for a larger bust too.
You could also just mention to your ladies that since you’re a harder to find bra size, maybe they could pitch in for a giftcard to one of these sites vs buying you actual pieces of lingerie. Or do something like a Panties-n-Punch theme, so you’d get all types of gorgeous fancy undies you probably wouldn’t splurge on for yourself for the honeymoon.

Lane Bryant has some cute lingerie pieces. But they’re a bit pricey too.

I am a 36D, and I have found that I just have to go in to stores to try things on. That way, I really know if they will work or not. Occasionally, Target and Walmart (surprise!) have pretty lingerie. I always have to have things with underwires in them, so I would suggest baby dolls or corsets with lots of support.
