Bben2009:  I actually live in Colorado and may be bias but I love it here. There are so many activities and quaint little towns in the mountains and it is so beautiful (not that it isn’t in Montana). Where is the timeshare in Colorado? If you are coming the second week of October then we may be getting snow in the mountains and it starts to get pretty cold. Glennwood Springs hotsprings is perfect around this time.

Let me know where and I can let you know what we have to offer!!

I have never been to Pagosa Springs, I have been down south where it is and the weather is definitely more extreme. They have the San Juan national forrest near by and that is beautiful. They also have the sand dunes down south a few hours east of there, but the time you are going might not be as ideal to visit.

Steamboat has Strawberry Park Hot Springs that is really nice. They will for sure have snow by the time you go and visit and the surrounding mountains are beautiful and the town is nice.

If you come to Colorado and are a beer drinker than visiting one of the many breweries is a must and practically every town has at least one. If there is something in particular you guys are looking to do let me know and I can let you know where to go!!

Go to Colorado- I just moved from Denver across the country and I miss it a lot! It is beautiful especially in the mountains! I would recommend that you go to Steamboat Springs, I love it there and it is beautiful! I would also recommend that you spend a night or 2 in downtown Denver, its a really fun city!

Bben2009:  I’m actually from Pagosa Springs, so I am a wealth of info for you!  It’s definitely a small and quaint mountain town that is known for the ski area & hot springs.  Going to soak in the hot springs is a definite must!  If you want to day trip out, I would suggest going over to Durango (60 miles away) and taking the Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad.  Also, Mesa Verde is only about 1 1/2 hours from Pagosa and is amazing.  TONS of hiking/beautiful scenic drives.  If you want more info, feel free to ask.  Since I lived there for 25 years, I could go on and on and on and on. lol
