We got engaged in Mexico, so we are doing two mini-moons instead of a "real" honeymoon. We're going to spend a few nights at a resort called White Point Beach Lodge in Nova Scotia and then when we get back to Ontario we are going to spend a few nights at a bed and breakfast in Niagara on the Lake (NOT Niagara Falls...they are two VERY different places). We are hoping to stay at a vinyard where we'll choose a wine from 2008. The plan is to buy a couple cartons of wine and every year for our anniversary we'll drink "our" vintage.

We're going to do a mini-moon after the wedding and then save money for a "real" one the following summer.
For the mini we're doing Vegas-Grand Canyon-Sedona and then for the "real" we wanted to go completely off the wall, so we're going to go to Iceland.
Wanting to go to Costa Rica but I'm unsure if they get hurricanes, since our honeymoon is during hurricane seasons. Timing is August, 2008.
If it doesn't work, we might do Hawaii.
Alaska - hiking, trout & salmon fishing, cruising, possible train rides. Possibly start from Northwest coast US - to Vancouver and on North!

we are going to Costa Rica. Our first choices were Greece, then Tahiti, and then St. Lucia. But, our reception that I could not live without took our entire budget, so we ended up doubling our budget. We have the opportunity to stay at a relatives condo in CR for free, so we took it! Now we can go for two weeks!
I'd love to have input, except my fiance refuses to tell me where we're going.
Just got back from a wedding planning trip in Jamaica. Wanted to advise: be careful in rainy season. It really may rain the entire trip! ( I thought it would rain 1 hour then stop...wrong!). There's just a little bit of risk.
