I'm personally not a fan of honeymoon registries, but they seem to be more and more common. I know someone who was thrilled to be able to gift a couple two extra nights at their honeymoon hotel. Go ahead and do a honeymoon registry - if people don't like it, they'll just give you something else (gift or check).

What are your feelings about this honeymoon registry (www.honeyfund.com).
Essentially you list the expenses for your honeymoon, and people can "purchase" it. The site gives guests a certificate that they can print, and they bring it to the wedding with a check, or they pay via paypal.
The good thing is that we're not locked to a specific travel agent and travel fees, but the bad thing is it like just asking for cash. But we're already living together, so we don't need a lot of the "traditional" registry items.
Thanks!
