i think we're looking at honeyfund. it seems to be one of the only ones out there that doesn't charge a service fee (though it doesn't let guests use credit cards either, they need to mail us a check directly).
We've been together for 6 yrs so we're totally in the same boat. I registered us on thebigday.com, but am not a big fan of the "surcharge" that gift givers have to pay.
Honeyfund lets you set up through Pay pal though : ) so most likely guests will like that feature more than sending a check : )
paypal does charge a small fee to release your money, but i think its worth it conveniece wise, and makes it more personal than sending a check in the mail ![]()
Do you know where you are going on your honeymoon yet? Our travel agent (Mrs. Spider uses her too) created a registry for us. Here's a link if you want to look at ours: http://wheredreamslead.com/Funkhoneymoon.html
She didn't charge us anything, and she will handle everything for our guests - including sending us cards so we know who purchased what. She has been fabulous, so I'd recommend contacting her if you are looking at something like this.
totally free - and you dont have to use their travel agents...
we are using www.thehoneymoon.com , but so far no one has bought anything off of it. I kind of want to get rid of it because while our honeymoon really doesn't fit into our budget, I feel like it is asking for money (which it is)....and I am still not comfortable with it. Oh well - everyone knows about it now anyway! but it seems pretty good. check out the website!

Hello fellow brides!
My FI and I have been together for LONG time (8 years!) and have all the housewares we can even dream of. We'd love to escape together for a long honeymoon so were thinking about using a honeymoon registry. Does anyone have any experience with one? I've checked out Big Day, Traveler's Joy and Honeyluna and all seem to have their good points.
any help is appreciated, thanks!
