i was looking into those honeymoon registries where your guests can contribute money for your honeymoon as an alternative to a wedding gift.

Haven't used it, but I remember seeing a post where someone was very happy with www.honeyfund.com

I bought someone a gift off of www.thebigday.com and it was very easy to use. I looked there myself for setting up a honeymoon registry and it was very easy. Basically you choose your location and then you can choose different activities at that location or you can create your own activities. The guests pay for the cost of the gift and then you get the money to use it towards your activity.

We stayed at a Marriott resort so we used their honeymoon registry. It. Was. AWESOME. Best thing ever. We got to the resort with over $500 of "play money" to use. Definitely worth it!

we have set up an honeymoon registry with honeyfund.com. My cousin used a local travel agent when they did a honeymoon registry and I thought it was the best thing ever. They were able to do all the excursions they wanted.

I def think it is a great idea. go for it!! Honeyfund is free, no cost to you or the giftgiver.

I added some honeymoon items to my amazon universal registry. I don't know if anyone will go to the extra trouble of calling our hotel or restaurants for gift certificates, but I hope they do. I thought about honeyfund, but specific gift certificates seem more personal somehow - maybe not though.
