We’re staying at an all inclusive resort in Jamaica, but we also signed up for Honeyfund.com. Has anybody done a honeymoon registry if they’re staying at an all-inclusive? We want people to feel like they can contribute, but I’m not sure what to add on there if everything is included. Did you make up silly categories like “dinner for 2” even though it’s already included? The money all goes to the same place, but I’m not sure how to lay it out for our guests. Any suggestions are appreciated!

We’re staying at an all-inclusive and set up a honeyfund account for it. I added categories for airfare and upgrading our hotel room Those categories cover a lot of the cost of the actual hotel stay. Then I added lots of categories for activities that wouldn’t be included. Things like zip lining, or renting jet skis, spa services and taking tours of the area. I figured we’d want to do a few meals away from the hotel, in town too, so I added that. I tried to add some filler cutesy things, like new swimwear and flipflops, beachside drink service and champagne toasts. Whether or not we actually end up doing all of those things, guests can feel like they were contributing towards a well-rounded trip. I don’t know how well it will work, our wedding isn’t until September… but I’m crossing my fingers that guests get on board with it.

I Know that at our Jamaica all inclusive you can do a special dinner set up for the 2 of you on the beach with candles and a private waiter…it costs a little bit extra…maybe that could be something you add!
