So FI and I recently booked a honeymoon cruise to the Caribbean (yay!). Now I OBVIOUSLY need a new swimsuit.
I already have this one piece from Victoria’s Secret
I am now looking for a bikini. After days of looking at every corner of the Victoria’s Secret website and picking every swimsuit apart, I think I have narrowed it down to three. And I am so so confused on which to get because there are different things that I like about all three. And FI is no help at all. He won’t tell me which one he likes the best because he doesn’t want to pick “the wrong one.”
So here’s where I need your help! I need opinions!
Also, I’m about 5’4 and 125-130 pounds. I have very small boobs and large hips/butt. And I am very fair. Like the lightest shade of makeup fair.
So here goes!
I am just in LOVE with the color on this one. I love the small gold detail and that it is push up without being too over the top. My only concern is that the color, though I love it, will make me look totally naked from afar. And I know the suit comes in other colors, but this is the one that I love in this style.
This little white ruched one says “honeymoon” to me more than the other 2 do. It is just a cute suit and I know it would be flattering on me. It also has the whole push up without being too much thing going on. I also love that it is not halter like the previous suit. Sometimes halter just digs into your neck. So I like that this one is just normal straps.
This suit is just too cute to me! I love the color of it. It’s slightly darker than the apricot suit so I don’t think it would make me look naked. It is a corset back which it pretty different and interesting. I love the style of it. My concern here is that bandeau tends to make me look super super flat chested and isn’t the most flattering on me. This one does have light padding inside, but I don’t want it to look awkward. It’s just so cute.
So bees, what do y’all think??

mallorinicole: Honestly, I’d probably get all 3 lol; you can never have too many bikinis! Otherwise, the first one is my favourite, closely followed by the second, but that’s because I’m not personally a fan of that particular style. It’s still lovely though!

I bought a black and white double lined one piece from Victoria’s Secret over the summer and it was completely see through while it was dry!!! The worst part was the stripes on my cash and prizes were the white stripes! It went back immediately!

mallorinicole: I would get all three! And right now ( well, maybe not anymore) alot of their swim is on sale. I got a really nice white bikini from VS with the rouched butt and the push up bra for $20 TOTAL from the end of their semi annual sale
However I am from Chicago where we def has seasonal weather so that may have something to do with it. If you are in midwest I would take a look at what they have on sale after one of their semi annual sales

Because of the sheen of the fabric and the color, the second suit looks like a bra and panty set to me. And the first looks cute dry but when it gets when it’s just going to be a sopping wet mess hanging there.
I’d go with the third white one personally. The last one isn’t terrible but I would worry about wardrobe malfunctions while swimming without straps…

What about something in a darker color? I always like a navy bikini, or maybe a bright, deep color like a bright blue, brighter coral color, etc.? I’m thinking about your skin color and what might look best.

stillme: I did like one blue ish one, but for the most part I was not really drawn to those colors. And I don’t want another one too similar in color to the red I already have. Bright blue and navy sound like pretty colors to have, I just wish I was more drawn to it!

mallorinicole: White if you are fair is usually the most flattering/makes you look tannest fastest, and the ruching will help create cleavage (although halter is DEF best for creating more bust, but you want to be comfy). I think the apricot is too light and will wash you out bc I had none that color from VS and exchanged it for coral.

I feel you really need to try them on – I’d order all three pick the one I liked best and send the other two back – VS has a super easy return policy…
