@nadnuk:  Everyone who watches may very well be in awe of the place but I am betting very FEW will be able to get there due to location, cost, etc. Let them keep dreaming. In the mean time, you BOOK THE PLACE and start planning your dream honeymoon.

@nadnuk:  Jade mountain has been featured on the Bachelor a few times before- I wouldnt sweat it. Most people watching arent trying to shell out 1,300/night so really…. carry on!

The Bachelor has been in St. Lucia before – when Jake proposed to Vienna.

Think of it this way – The Bachelor isn’t going anywhere that isn’t amazingly beautiful.  People watching on tv will ogle at the views, but few are planning a trip solely because the saw it on the show.  You can use the show to come up with things you’d like to try, or places to see, they’re doing the homework for you.

Book the honeymoon, enjoy the beautiful views and forget all about Juan Pablo.

My response is irrelevant because I don’t watch the Bachelor but I just wanted to say you’re soo lucky! My paternal family is from St. Lucia and I’ve always wanted to visit, eff the show and everyone else and just enjoy the gorgeous vacation that’s in store for you and your FI.

@nadnuk:  I’m trying to find a way to do a St. Lucia honeymoon on a budget. Do you mind sharing how you find your good deals?

what? I would be more than happy to go! I actually love to know the place before going so that you will know what to do and where to go.  I have travelled to a lot of places repeatedly, I dont see anything wrong in that.  It actually makes your trip easier!

I don’t know, I’ve seen it apart from the Bachelor, I don’t think it’s a big secret hotel.  You should just be happy you booked before prices increased (for whatever reason).

Seriously?  It’s a hotel.  I’m sure lots of people have been there before you.  It doesn’t mean it’ll be less special for you…

@abbie017:  +1

Lots of shows/movies take place in NYC, they don’t make actually going there any less awesome!
