I’ve seen people post special things that an airline or hotel has done for them because it was their honeymoon.
We’ve already booked our flight and resort stay— and the resort is adults only/ Couples (read: half the people there are on their honeymoon!!!) so my question is, how do people end up getting upgraded because it’s their honeymoon? Do I have to call the airline and tell them? Does this even exist anymore???!!!!

@Andthepupmakes3: We plan to tell the airline when we check in to see if there are any upgrades available and we will let them know its our honeymoon. Same upon arrival to the hotels

@Andthepupmakes3: I plan on doing the same as Daizy. Hopefully we get lucky. We have several hotels we are staying in 🙂

I have been upgraded to first class multiple times and its always happened at the gate, not ahead of time. My plan is to basically just wear my “Bride” hoodie and advertise that its our honeymoon, LOL. I have been upgraded to first class just because it was birthday before. If they have room they can do it, but a lot depends on the agent and the mood they’re in. Honestly I feel like it would be a really awkward conversation to call the airline and mention its your honeymoon. If I were the employee I’d be like, “oooookay…?” hahaha
When I booked our hotels I just made a mention in the comment section that we are visiting for our honeymoon. I know one hotel is giving us champagne and strawberries, but no mention from the other hotel. We are already staying in suites so I don’t expect any type of room upgrades.
