Hoop skirt, Crinoline, Petticoat. . .oh my!

@infinity092813:  while I haven’t purchased my dress yet, I have tried on both hoop skirts and crinolines and plan on purchasing/renting one. I’ll share my experiences.

Hoop skirts are much lighter and allow for more air flow (good if you’re getting married during a warmer season). The hoop skirt is important to me due to the eczema I have on my legs.  The hoop skirt will not be touching my legs at all, which is good.  The crinoline does allow for more flexibility and space…you can squish it down when you need to get in and out of cars. The hoop does give you a fixed “perimeter” around you.

I don’t know what would work best for your dress..it’s probably best you try it on with your dress…some worked better with a crinoline while others worked better with the hoop.

I was told by all dress boutiques that I could rent or buy through them. Looks like it will be $75 or up.
