My fiance and I had decided on a late evening wedding and a hor’deourve/cocktail reception at a hotel. The reception will start around 8 or 8:30 and I was quoted about $20 a head which amounts to about 14 hor’deorves per guest. In total there will be about 900 hor’deourves (were getting a variety of things like: bacon wrapped scallops, spring rolls, bbq meatballs, grilled chicken strips w/ mango salsa, bruschetta ect). The overall total cost of the food + 15% HST +15% gratuities comes to be about $2000. I’m just wondering if this seems like a reasonable price or if I should look into private catering for cheaper costs???
