i like making things, so i might take a bottle of wine and tie a tag around the neck with mickey on it and a quick note like, 'thank you for letting us stay!'. you could do this with a candle or a jar of homemade jam, anything like that. that way if you cant find something mickey, you can just attach a mickey themed tag to something she can use. you could re-gift, as long as she has never seen the gift before. i hope this helped...!

@soyjoy222: LMBO!! I didn't even think about the way that OOOT sounded if you read it. I just got used to saying it , on here, due to wedding guests.
Thanks so much for your suggestions. I am not a drinker, so I don't even know if she drinks. I think that I like the candle idea, if I don't re-gift. Plus, they got married a month before us and we didn't attend each other's weddings.
I usually bring something that has to do with where I'm from, since they obviously can't get it there. I'm in FL, so I'll go to the orange groves to get some candy or something like that.
oh bbq sauce would be a good idea. if you find one that they wouldn't have in their local grocery. SO's mom did that for us once and it was really neat when she came back from a trip to new orleans.
I made homemade bath salts for my BMs. Do you think that I can make a big jar of that for them?

I am in my cousin's wedding, out of town, next month. My hubby, mom, and little sister are going too. We are going to be staying at my aunt's house while are there. I was thinking of getting her and her husband a gift. She loves Mickey Mouse. Should it be something Mickey for the house or something else? Could I possibly re-gift them something from our wedding? Have you ever given someone a gift for allowing you to stay at their place? Is this a good idea. Do you have any other ideas on what I can get them?
