My shower was a surprise. I knew my MOH was throwing one, I just didn't know when. I had ordered her a gift and literally kept it in my car for weeks. Then when I had the shower I said, voila and pulled it out. That day too I realized that two of my bridesmaids had actively worked hard to pull it all together. I ended up sending them flowers the next day as a thank you.

I've been reading a lot lately about wedding shower hostess gifts, but am wondering what I should do in my situation....my mom and sister (as far as I know) were trying to throw me a surprise shower, but several people (including my brother) have openly talked about the shower with me since my mom didn't write that it was a surprise on the invites. I have no idea what the details are, or who is really "throwing" it (sister is MOH, but not sure if other bridesmaids, aunts, grandmothers, etc are involved as well).
So the question is....should I bring a hostess gift? For who? I'll feel bad about not bringing one, but have no idea who to cater the gift to.
Anyone else find themselves in the same situation? :)
