Probably the dumbest question ever, but wondering:
I am 29 weeks pregnant and making a mobile for my baby’s nursery. Do you know if I can use hot glue? Are there fumes that could hurt the baby? I’ve Googled but can’t really find an answer…

YES! you are fine!
i was reading in my doctor’s office the other day that there are SO many pregnancy myths. it’s true that you can’t paint, but the whole hair dye thing is a myth. i can almost guarantee that hot glue is fine. there are no fumes….it’s just regular glue that’s hot!!!

As long as you’re not using the hot glue as a nasal rinse, I think you’ll be fine!

Plus I would imagine you are only using it for a short period of time. Its not like you are working in a hot glue gun factory 40 hours a week!

I know I’m totally paranoid, but Lord knows there’s been a zillion things I never knew you couldn’t have/do/eat while preggo. Sorry if it was the dumbest question ever!
@SecretName: With the pace my DIY mobile-making is going, it might as well be 40 hours in a hot glue gun factory. haha
Thanks again, everyone! Appreciate it!

Should be fine- I’ve been doing a lot of hot glueing DIY crafts for our nursery too.. Post pics when you’re done with the mobile- would love to see it!

@LpCutiPie:Thanks. Makes me feel a lot better! Will post a pic of the mobile if it’s not a complete disaster when I’m done. I’m kinda making it up as I go. Never a good idea. haha
