i've been <span style="text-decoration: line-through;">drooling all over myself admiring miss duckling's std's and felt inspired to search for all her crafty gadgets. just came across the yudu on amazon and it's $100.00 off. which is great, except it's causing me to raise some eyebrows. anyone know why the hot sale? is it just a bad gadget or what? are they coming out with something new perhaps? please help before my state of insominia gets the better of me and actually presses the buy and confirm key......................

They might be coming out with a new version or something which they do often with these type of machines, I wouldn't worry about it, unless you must have the latest and greatest. The yudu that's out right now is pretty great in my opinion. I would go for it! *jealous!*

Hmm I have no idea but $100 is an amazing sale for that!!! Does the one at that price have everything you need to start because supplies can really add up if not. Good luck!

Yeah for craft machines!  What are you thinking about making?

Where is the $100 off at? Just make sure it is a legit seller.  I know sometimes you can get great deals with cricut stuff on ebay, so I wonder if maybe yudu is selling there too?

I just saw that they are now selling Yudu at Costco for something like $249 which is $50 off.  Also paper-source is selling them now but I think they are the $300 unless you can use a coupon with it.

I'm working on getting a Yudu tutorial post up soon.  I did one project of 18 shirts for Mr. Ducky's company, but we had several snafus so it just got ridiculous to keep taking pictures.  Now that I have a better handle on it I'm going to try doing a project and taking all the pics this weekend.

My other favorite machine that I haven't blogged about yet because I still need to get my invite post up is the xyron.  That thing is awesome!  It makes a sticker, magnet or laminates any paper.  I know several bees have had one in the past.  It's my most recent addition and I love it.

I am glad someone posted about this. I have been stalking the internet trying to find a Yudu at a great price and so far no luck. I have lost out on ebay quite a number of times trying to get one, but they are hot items right now. I think the price is somewhat inflated now since they are relatively new. I am hoping the price comes down in the next couple of months or retailers like Michael's let's you use coupons towards the purchase.

@Mrs. Duckling  - ever since your post I have been waiting for your next Yudu post. Anxious to see your first project. I also heard they have just come out with a new 220  screen which will allow you to print smaller fonts. To be released later this year. It makes me even more anxious to get it.

Just checked the Amazon site and the $195 is an excellent price for the machine. Its one of the lowest I have seen especially considering it qualifies for free shipping.

@Duckling I loooove my Xyron too, I use it on tons of things, including laminated STD bookmarks.  I cant wait to see what you have used it for.
