It just sounds so romantic and..well awesome! But it ups the price alot!!

Do you guys think it's worth it??

A regular bathtub doesn't really work for us, he's 6'6"..so only one of us can fit in at a time! That's probably why the idea is so alluring to us, we've never been able to cuddle in water in privacy! lol

    Thoughts on the subject??

Our suite for the night of the wedding has a hottub, but for the honeymoon we opted not to splurge on it.  Honestly we're going to Hawaii and would rather do fun activities or eat a really nice meal.  It's up to you though!

Hmm. We once stayed in a doubletree suites that had an amazingly huge jacuzzi tub, so maybe you could do it that way?

Or go on vrbo.com/vacationrentals.com to find a cabin or condo that has one that's inexpensive to rent?

    Good luck!!

Hmm...well I think that it sounds AWESOME, but you'd have to really take a hard look at your budget. If you think you can pull it off and cut some costs in other areas, then go for it! But if it's going to break your budget by over $1K, then I would say just try and get a hot tub for your home together.

guess it depends how much the price goes up and what you think you will be doing/what kind of location you are going to. we had one once for a romantic getaway where it was not very warm at night, so we didn't want to be outside, and would come back with a bottle of champagne and relax together. that was super fun! but if you're at the beach I could also see cuddling on the sand being pretty fun too and then like kara said you could spend that money on romantic dinners.

Hmmm...I'm not sure it would be worth the increased price, if it's a big difference. If we're just talking a jacuzzi tub in a bathroom, that is. Will you have access to a hot tub as part of a pool complex? I know you wouldn't have the same degree of privacy, but really if you're thinking about getting some ;-) in your tub, that's not very good for your health.

6'6"? Honey, splurge on the hot tub and enjoy cuddling underwater! It's fun; it's your honeymoon and what a treat it would be for him. I thought I had bathtub cuddling troubles with my 6'1" FI. My FI is always complaining that it is too hard for him to soak in a normal length bathtub. We had a hot tub in our room on our honeymoon trip and it was fantastic. He brought champagne with us and flutes, so we sipped cold champagne while we were in the hot water and it couldn't have been better.

I don't know what the price difference would be for you, but we had a jacuzzi tub in our room on our honeymoon and it was great.  It was super relaxing and a great place for sipping champagne!

I'm going take the other side on this one.  I travel pretty constantly for work, and have occasionally ended up in a room with a hot tub.  They are almost always kind of gross; either they aren't clean (other people's hair- ew!) or there is mildew all over the carpet.  Frankly, I just can't stop thinking about just how many other people have been "cuddling" in the tub and how good the hotel's cleaning staff is.  If you trust the hotel, I say go for it, but otherwise...
