I did ours in August for a June wedding. :)
I still haven't sent out STDs. Failbride, I am! lol
We're working right now on blocking rooms for our July 31st wedding. We want to have the room blocks in place before we send out the STDs so that our guests can start reserving rooms right away.
since ours is labor day weekend in somewhat of a resort town, as soon as i got a date, i got room blocks. so about 11 months in advance....
We're getting married Labor day weekend too! Our reception's in a hotel so we just walked over to the other office & booked the rooms too - that was back in April.
@ JoJo - For our date, I was told end of January/February. You're right on time if you're working on it now.

I am getting ready to send out my STDs for my August wedding. Many of our guests will be traveling from out of state. How early do you set up a block of rooms at a hotel?
