We are getting a discount based on the number of rooms we reserve (i.e. there's a break at 10 rooms, 15 rooms, and 20 rooms).
We are reserving for Friday and Saturday night (wedding is Saturday).
No. We could have if we wanted to be responsible for filling rooms but I didn't want to run that risk.
our rates are cheaper than the hotel's website, but more expensive than you could probably find yourself on hotels.com or similar site.
we blocked more room than we need (i think 60 at 2 hotels) because we have no penalty for not filling the blocks. we reserved a few rooms for 3 nights, then all of them for 2 nights.
