(Closed) Hotel Blocks on the A,C, or F Trains

I’m sorry to say that you’re going to encounter a charge to deliver a bag to a room in just about every hotel there is.  I do large events for work (like 300+ sleeping rooms) and they still won’t waive the charge to deliver something to a room.

DUMBO is super close to downtown manhattan – like 5 minutes on the train, have you thought of checking out hotels there?  There are so few hotels in downtown Brooklyn that In My Humble Opinion their prices aren’t terribly competitve.  Also – check out the fees for parking if any of your guests would drive in, some of the hotels in Brooklyn (le Bleu I think) didn’t even have a garage!

How about the Milennium Hilton by Ground Zero? The A/C is a few blocks away.

Are most of your guests from out of town?  In my experience most people unfamiliar with NYC just end up taking cabs anyway, so I wouldn’t stress too much over proximity to trains.
