Dont stay in Times Square!!!
You could try the W down in Union Square - the one on Lex has teeny tiny hotel rooms and is not in a very fun neighborhood. I don't know a ton of other good places in the city since I know mostly of business hotels in midtown that wouldn't be great.
hotels.com can be a great way to find more reasonable NYC rates...
Thanks. I'm trying not to break the bank, since we'd rather spend our money shopping and eating :)
Take a look on vrbo (vacation rentals by owners) theuy have penty of affordable and beautiful apartments for rent in the city. You caould all share one, plus you would have yr own kitchenette etc so would make it a lot more affordable as you can stock up the refridgerator with drinks and snacks etc. ave fun!
I'm not sure how many girls are planning on going, but we've stayed at the Hyatt down in Battery Park and you can actually sneak people in if you book one/two rooms and with multiple entrances, nobody is going to notice. We had 9 girls stay in one room with two double beds for my cousin's bachelorette party and it was so much fun! I would suggest going with a busier location so if you have more girls, it would be less noticeable sneaking in. =)

Hi ladies. I'm planning a weekend trip to NYC for my sister's bachelorette in September. We're still hammering out the hotel situation for Saturday night. Any suggestions?
