Hello there.

My husband and I will be attending a wedding reception in Raleigh (DH's hometown) this August. (We're going to the actual wedding in May...in Jamaica!! So excited!)

Anyway, instead of staying with his parents, we'd like to stay 1 or 2 nights right in the middle of downtown.

What are some cool/unique hotels I should check out?

I've never stayed at a hotel in dt Raleigh, but I would say to check out the Sheraton Raleigh Capital Center. There are a bunch of great restaurants and bars n the area!

I've actually stayed in the exact hotel @Lolasmomma is referring to and it's really nice. They were very accomodating and we had a great time! The Mariott downtown is gorgeous as well!
