If I didn’t have a bunch of people (aka parents and friends) staying at my house, we would have preferred to stay in our own home. As it was, we stayed in a craphole of a hotel for $60 a night and laughed at it. But no, it’s not worth it to check in at 3am and leave at noon. Go home–you’ll sleep better I think!

My friend was in your exact same situation. She hadn’t been planning on staying in a hotel but we got it for them as their wedding gift.

Later they said they were so glad they did, that it made it more special.

Also they got someone to check them in at 3pm so they already had their key and stuff when they showed up in the middle of the night -and they asked for late checkout because of their wedding.

But if money is an issue for you, then maybe not worth it.
