My girls are busy planning my bachelorette party, which I am very excited about! It is going to be two days before the wedding. All the events are happening in Ft. Lauderdale (I live in Orlando) so I will obvisouly need to make some hotel arrangements for myself.
My question: for the night of the bachelorette party, should I make myself a hotel reservation, or do I stay with my bridesmaids? Do they make these accomodations? Who pays?
The have only been to one bachelorette party and the bride’s mother paid of the hotel room that night. I don’t know if this is typical or what to expect? I just want to be prepared 🙂 Thanks girls!

Likely the girls will take care of this and include you in the room they are booking. Usually you just pack 4 people into a room and the bachlorette doesn’t pay.

We had two rooms right next to each other that my bridesmaids paid for. If you’re unsure whether your bridesmaids are going to plan for a place to stay, just ask.

Your girls should handle this. I have no idea why a bride’s mother would be involved in a bachelorette party — that’s one place I’d want my mother far away from!

JiminyCricket: lol yeah I agree, it was a little odd.

I am going away for mine too and was wondering this myself!
One of my BMs (who also happens to be my sister ) is refusing to go because it’s costing each girl around $200 to stay at the resort (which includes a spa package). So now I am worried the other BMs have to split it 2 ways instead of 3 ways and I feel terrible…my sister is so cheap! (she can DEF. afford it…). It wont be an issue if I am paying for myself- but I don’t want to ask!
