So if you got married anywhere near Burlingame, what hotels did you use?
I’m a budget bride, and I’m looking for an affordable suite for about 4 people the night before, with a separate “living room area” and a sleeping area.
I’ve had my eye on Crowne Plaza SFO, but they have a wide range of reviews. All I care about is that it’s clean, affordable, and not shabby (but I don’t care about outdated looking decor).
As for the wedding night, I’d kinda prefer a different hotel than the night before, and I’m just looking for a nice room for around $150.
I’m getting married Nov. 30 this year, which is Thanksgiving weekend, so I need to book my rooms fairly soon.

@fzesguer: So, my husband and I live in Redwood City, not too far from Burlingame, but as a result, I’m not too sure I’m too well versed in hotels around here! I’ve seen Crowne Plaza, and it’s what you said – they seem clean and affordable. If Redwood Shores isn’t too far for you, I was going to suggest the Sofitel – http://www.sofitel.com/gb/hotel-0922-sofitel-san-francisco-bay/index.shtml. I’ve never stayed there, but it looks pretty nice. Anyway, I’m not too much help, but hopefully you find some good advice! 🙂

We’re staying at the Bay Landing Hotel in September. Sorry that doesn’t help you much now, but it has pretty good reviews and a view of the bay. I think we paid $159, although I do have AAA which saves a little bit of money.

Thanks for the advice! I was considering the Bay Landing, so I’ll take another look at it. And I’ve heard great things about the Sofitel, I’ll check that out too 🙂
